Snips, Tin – Tin snips (also known as tinner snips and shears) are hand tools specifically designed to cut sheet metal. They are highly useful for making both straight and curved manual cuts through a variety of sheet metals, including stainless steel, copper and tin (hence the name tin snips.)
Generally speaking, tin snips they are comparable to regular old scissors. Tin snips come as straight, left and right cut.
