Calipers –Calipers are used to take precise measurements of the inside, outside, depth measurements of objects. Calipers are used in scientific labs and engineering schools, machine shops and wood working and mechanical repair shops, anywhere accurate measurements are necessary.
Chisel – A chisel is a cutting tool with a sharpened edge at the end of a metal blade, used—often by driving with a mallet or hammer—in dressing, shaping, or working a solid material such as wood, stone, or metal.
Drift Tool – In metal working, a drift pin, drift pin punch, simply drift, is the name for a tool used for localizing a hammer blow. A drift is smaller in diameter than the hammer face, thus concentrating the force into a smaller area. A drift is also used where the surrounding surfaces need to be protected from the hammer blow.
