Armlets

An armlet is a band or bracelet worn around the upper part of a person’s arm.

Loadmasters are responsible for properly loading, securing and escorting cargo and passengers before any flight. Transportation specialists coordinate, monitor, control, and supervise the movement of personnel, equipment, and cargo by air, land, and sea, as well as manage technical and logistical support for transportation operations.

The example shows a Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC) armlet with Sergeant rank, with mobile Command badge worn pre-1968. The RCASC became the Transport component of the Service Battalion. This organizational component is still applicable to this day.

This lanyard is 36 inches long, and is used to connect a pistol, sword, or whistle for signaling.
