Military Book Event

In Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, on Saturday afternoon, 8 June 24, four Winnipeg Army Reserve units—38 Service Battalion, the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders and the Fort Garry Horse—held a successful unit history book sale at Bison Books on Graham Avenue. Unit histories could be purchased individually or bundled together as a group. The latter option was of interest to numerous customers.

Many thanks to Dave Atwell, former CO, FGH for organizing the event.
