DESCRIPTION:On Saturday, 7 Dec 24, 17 Service Company of 38 Service Battalion held its annual Holiday Soldiers’ Dinner at Minto Armouries Junior Ranks Mess. Approximately 40 people attended, including three members of the Service Battalion Senate, Inc.—LCol (ret’d) D. Watts, Maj (ret’d) E. Gerbrandt, and Capt (ret’d) T. Klumper. Cpl Babiak was appointed Honorary CO and Pte Parotina was appointed Honorary CSM for the evening. LCol (ret’d) D. Watts, Chair of the Senate, presented the Senate Scholarship Award to Pte. Claudia Watson and the Performance Recognition Award to Cpl (WO) Munnoch accepting the award on behalf of Cpl. T. Case.
