DESCRIPTION:In Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy\nTo commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, on Saturday afternoon, 8 June 24, four Winnipeg Army Reserve units—38 Service Battalion, the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders and the Fort Garry Horse—held a successful unit history book sale at Bison Books on Graham Avenue. Unit histories could be purchased individually or bundled together as a group.
