SUMMARY:Vimy Memorial CSS Museum
DESCRIPTION:Following a formal parade on 6 April 24 at the Vimy Memorial in Winnipeg to commemorate the Vimy Ridge battle in the First World War, approximately 200+ army cadets congregated at Minto Armouries.\nThe CSS Museum was opened for visits and touring. About 70 of the cadets visited the CSS Museum. They had an opportunity to try on a great coat and turtle helmet as well as a combat jacket and M1 style helmet while a photo was taken. The R Wpg Rifs and QOCH Museums were also open to visitors.\nCSS Museum volunteers (L-R) Maj (ret’d) Erv Gerbrandt, Capt (ret’d) Tim Klumper, and LCol (ret’d) Dale Watts hosted and also had some kit shop items available for sale.\n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				CSS Museum volunteers (L-R) Maj (ret’d) Erv Gerbrandt, Capt (ret’d) Tim Klumper, and LCol (ret’d) Dale Watts hosted 70 cadets at the CSS Museum.\n				\n		\n\n
