SUMMARY:CSS Museum School Presentation
DESCRIPTION:On 7 and 9 November 23, the CSS Museum volunteers hosted over 80 junior high students and their instructors at Bardal’s Funeral Centre at 3030 Notre Dame Avenue. The students listened to a guest speaker from the QOCH of Canada, viewed portable displays filled with CSS Museum artifacts at the back of the room, and then tried on a battle dress greatcoat from the 1950s with helmet as well as a combat jacket and helmet from the 1970s and 1980s while their teachers took photos.\nFollowing this component, the students were bussed to Brookside Cemetery where they were able to view veteran graves.\n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				CSS Museum School Presentation at Bardals Funeral Centre\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				CSS Museum School Presentation at Bardals Funeral Centre\n				\n		\n\n
